Intro

In light of the widespread tech layoffs in 2022 and 2023 and diffictulties finding opportunities for students, I took the initiative to establish a collaboration hub. This platform is designed to empower not just my classmates but CS students at large. It provides a space for them to bolster their portfolios, hone their teamwork skills, and immerse themselves in tangible project experiences—providing a valuable alternative to traditional summer internships. Problem

Students do not have enough opportunities to collaborate with others in real world projects

Solution

A digital platform that facilitates project collaboration among students and enables them to offer or seek opportunities for joint ventures and employment.

Research

To evaluate the appeal of my concept, I developed a landing page and distributed it via email to the school community. This initiative successfully garnered interest, with 51 individuals expressing their enthusiasm by submitting applications through the landing page.

I also added Hotjar to the landing page to get ideas from students such as the ability to contact each other.
